![]() Update list of applications to send scane to. To add it, I Opened the Del All-In-One Center, scanning and copying. You added AcroRd32, which is Adobe Reader. You needed to add Microsoft Word to the list. I can live without the scanner, but if it miraculously starts working with Vista, that would be cool! I lacked the nerve to try to fix that problem, despite helpful advice on this forum. Side note : The scanning function of this printer stopped working at some point (perhaps after I installed XP SP3). This printer has never been connected to my laptop, so there shouldn't be anything to uninstall or otherwise clean up, correct? Once I have the right driver, will this be a simple installation? I searched this forum but could not find a question about a fresh install. I tried to find the driver on the Dell site but could only find the 32-bit driver. ![]() Since the printer pre-dates Vista, the disk that came with it doesn't include Vista drivers. The printer is a few years old and has previously been connected to a desktop that runs Windows XP. I have a Dell 924 AIO printer that I want to connect to my Dell Studio laptop, which runs the 64-bit version of Vista. ![]()
